Yes! We’re just over one week into 2010 and I’m already a week behind. Great way to start the new year, right!? Don’t Worry. South Bay Foodies is gearing up for a great 2010.
Oh, BTW, are you saying “twenty ten” or “two thousand ten”? Think about it for a sec. Last year were you saying “twenty nine” or “two thousand nine”? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
My friends, family, and fellow bloggers have all gone through their resolutions, intentions, and dreams of things to come. I stopped making resolutions many years ago. Not because they were “impossible” or fell by the wayside around February 6th (though many did). But mainly because I wasn’t holding myself accountable. All that is about to change……..sort of.
In 2010 (twenty ten?) you’re going to see more from South Bay Foodies. “More what?”, you say. Check this out:
- More material, hopefully in a more timely fashion. Don’t laugh! (ha!) Ok, i just did so it’s cool. Go ahead and laugh. it’s true; I am the slowest blogger on record. There’s lots of good news out there and I’ll try my best to share it with you in time for you to make use of it.
- More introductions. I’d love to introduce you to the many awesome restaurateurs, chefs, and foodies that I’ve met over the past few years. Of course, my bias is to the South Bay but there’s no limit to how far I’ll go to share something good.
- More blogs. I’m REALLY excited about some developments I have coming up with this blog and others. More guest bloggers, more features, and more blogs both old and new. I’m going to do more with my daugther and her blog, Katia’s Lunch. I’m also working on two other blogs that are still in development. I’m looking forward to sharing them with you!
- More events. There’s an awesome bunch of foodies and food bloggers in the South Bay and around LA that get together every now and then. Look for more happy hours, dinners, and events planned by the South Bay Foodies and our partners.
Also, December 2009/Januraty 2010 (two thousand ten?) marks the blogiversary of South Bay Foodies. We didn’t do anything big to recognize it (yet) but I still wanted to thank you for stopping by every now and then, your comments, emails, tweets, votes in cooking contests, and all the other love you’ve shared during the past thirteen months or so. Keep it coming!
Your daughter’s blog is too cute. Too cute! How fun for you both.
When’s the next LA blogger meet up!?
Yes it is cute (if I do say so myself)! 🙂 I think I get a kick out of it more than she does but its still fun for us both.
Next meet up….don’t know yet! But I’m keeping my schedule clear!
