I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s out there.  Especially my brothers, uncles, cousins, and best friends. You guys are great! You’ve earned this day!

I’m a dad too so I also wanted to take a look back at some of the recent “daddy” moments I’ve shared with the two cute little cooks in my life.

They were a big help when I did a cook out for about twenty hungry men and boys at a fraternity function. They were very professional and worked hard. I was so proud of them! I couldn’t have done it without them and really appreciated the help.

My ladies help me put on a huge cook out.

They worked pretty hard but seemed to be having a good time.

Working hard but still smiling.

I think its important to teach kids volunteerism and community service.  Once again my little ladies answered the call and were eager to lend a hand when I volunteered to cook for Stir It 28, a fundraising event for Hatian Relief.

One night, we played around in the kitchen making BBQ chicken pizzas.  They were cooking like professionals while  seasoning, topping, and baking their very own pizza creation.  I’ve taught them well!

They were a big help offering their opinions on the food at Pick Up Stix.  They’re experts on teriyaki chicken and were quick to let me know how the chicken at Pick Up Stix stacked up.

I have to give thanks for my little ladies. They make it so much fun to be a dad.

Happy Father’s Day…to me! 🙂
