This Sunday, give Dad what he really wants this Father’s Day: Beer! Here are a few local spots with special events to celebrate Dad’s Day.

$3 Craft Drafts at Lazy Dog Torrance

Sunday brunch at Lazy Dog starts at 10 AM. Why so early? Get dad there for a complimentary limited edition Lazy Dog Pale Ale pint glass (while supplies last) and ice cold brews for just $3. Oh, and the food is perfectly paired to match. Check out our review here.

Rock & Brews Local Craft Beer Festival

Save the brunches for mom; take dad to a beer festival! This year Rock & Brews is pulling out all the stops for their second Local Craft Beer Festival just for Dads. Tell pops to leave the tie at home and put on his beer drinking shirt. The $50 tickets include admission to the festival, food, beer and commemorative glassware. Father’s Day Brunch at Flemings Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

OK, if you have to get all dressed up and snooty, check out this deal at Fleming’s in El Segundo. Just for dad (and you too), they’re offering a three course brunch for $34.95/person.

What’s the winning combination here? Dad can get steak and their New Orleans-style French Toast: thick slices of brioche bread soaked in Grand Marnier-flavored cinnamon batter, topped with housemade chantilly cream and fresh berries. Daddy’s home!

Dad also gets a complimentary $25 gift card for his next visit. That’ll give him something to dream about during his food coma.

Brunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
