While visions of LA’s Restaurant Week fade into dreams of indulgent dining, thousands of meals are ready and waiting to be consumed this week in Orange County.  Orange County Restaurant week started Sunday, February 27 and runs until Saturday, March 5.

Orange County Restaurant WeekFor 2011, the OC Restaurant Association, Inc. has partnered with more than 100 of Orange County’s hottest dining destinations to deliver multi course, prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner.

Depending on the restaurant, meals are priced at $10, $15, or $20 for lunch and $20, $30, or $40 for dinner.

With so many locations participating, the spectrum of cuisines is more than even the best of foodies can consume in a week.  Follow this link for a list of participating restaurants and their menus.

If you’re travelling from far and wide for the perfect meal, follow this link to find hotels that have partnered for OC Restaurant Week.

There’s a Map for That! Bad News, Good News

If you’re looking for a map of the participating restaurants, follow this link:

Bad news is: I didn’t update the map for OC Restaurant Week 2011.

The good news?  Many of the restaurants that participated in 2009 (the last time I updated the map) are participating again this time.  The addresses should all be the same and the links even point to the new menus.

If you use the map to find a spot, make sure you call or google the place before you go to confirm that they are participating.

Happy dining!
