Just last week, the newly formed Hermosa Beach Young Professionals (HBYP) launched their organization with an event at Rok Sushi. More than 100 professionals were in attendance to meet and network with other South Bay business owners, entrepreneurs, and employees.
Torrance and Manhattan Beach also have young professional groups active in the South Bay. These two groups are locking horns this week with events featuring bowling and beer.
In the North, the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals are hosting the MBYP Beer Festival featuring two dozen beer vendors, hosted appetizers from 7 local restaurants, and live music from 3 local bands. On top of that they promise plenty of opportunities for networking.

A good networking event can be very beneficial. It’s always nice to see the ones for young professionals. They’re hard to meet in LA!
Yes, indeed. I went to the Hermosa one and made some great contacts.
