Yes, citizens of Southern California. All good things must come to an end. The final long, lazy days of the summer are waning away into the business of back to school, back to work, back to…, well, you get the idea.
That just means we have to take these next few weekends and party like the summer is going out of style. Here are a few things the South Bay Foodies are tracking for the weekend. Maybe we will see you there!

Hermosa Beach Pier Concert Series Featuring “Hellogoodbye”
How appropriate! The last show of the Hermosa Beach Pier Concert Series is headlined by a group call Hellogoodbye. Hello, Autumn. Goodbye, Summer!
(Quoted from South Bay Events) “Somehow, summer is already winding down in the South Bay, which is a little depressing. Don’t let it go quietly and make sure you catch the 4th and final Hermosa Beach Concert on the Beach. This Sunday, August 21, Hellogoodbye will be performing on a stage just south of the Hermosa Pier for free!”
“Hellogoodbye provides high-energy emo/punk/indie rock that aways gets the crowd going. With an opening act by local artist Justin Hopkins, this promises to be a great way to wind down the weekend and the summer.”
