Recently I saw on Facebook Chili’s was promoting new flatbreads! I’ve often found that Chili’s is great with new food offerings and one Friday night I decided to see what these flatbreads were all about and if it was worth the frenzy!
I found Chili’s offering three different kinds of flatbread:
- Margherita flavor, which is topped with monterey jack, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and cilantro-ranch pesto.
- Chipotle Chicken, which is topped with grilled chicken, chipotle pesto, cheddar, monterey jack, pico de gallo and tomato sauce.
- California Grilled Chicken, which is topped with grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, monteray jack, mozzarella, cilantro, avocado, pico de gallo and garlic aioli.
I chose to get the chipotle chicken.
The chipotle chicken flatbread was great. The crust was thin and crispy around the edges. It was slightly spicy due to the pico de gallo and chipotle pesto and definitely very flavorful.
These flatbreads are made fresh right after you order them so there can be a little bit of wait before they come to your table. It is definitely worth the wait though. It is no wonder that these flatbreads were the talk of Facebook because they are definitely fantastic!
