“Winter in LA” at the Doughroom is set to pair great food with great beer from two of the South Bay’s hottest breweries: El Segundo Brewing Company and Smog City.

In this event, The Doughroom will feature four taps from each brewery plus food pairings.  The Facebook event page gives a heads up for the beers that will be on tap:

From the Torrance based Smog City: The Nothing, Little Bo Pils, LA Saison, and Make-Out Session Pale Ale (formerly XPA).

From El Segundo Brewing: Mayberry IPA, Citra Pale, Hyperion’s Vanilla Stout, Two 5 Left DIPA.

And while the food pairings haven’t been announced, The Doughroom’s menu lists plenty of salads, pastas, and pizzas to choose from.

My only regret in the tap selections is the absent Coffee Porter from Smog City.  I’d love to match it with a glass of ESB’s Hyperion Vanilla Stout!

Whatever the case, the food and beer selections at this event are sure to make for a win-win-win situation.
