One day my dad brought home some leftover pizza from a new place called Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. I tried it and I thought that it was the best pizza ever. I wanted to go again but I didn’t get the chance until about 1 month later. When I did I wrote a review about it and here it is.
I personally loved the Caesar salad because it had very fresh grated Parmesan on top and the lettuce was not that crunchy, but not too flimsy either. The croutons were oven baked, with garlic, and they weren’t the super crunchy kind where it hurts your teeth to bite them. I would say they were just right for my splendid meal.
The crust on the sausage and pepperoni pizza was thin but not too thin so that when you pick it up it just sinks to your plate. The crust was just right so its not too chewy but not too hard. I loved the sausage on the pizza, it was so fresh that it was like it was just made in Italy.
Our server recommended the new spicy sausage, but I kindly said no thank you because I am not a big fan of spicy things. However, for people out there who do like spicy things such as spicy italian sausage, I highly suggest you try it .
My dad influences me to start trying new things, also my Mom did because she said you never know if you are going to get the chance to try it again. The pepperoni was a little thick but fantastic, I loved how there was a little bit of spiciness which added to the unique flavor. The cheese was amazing, white, and had a lot of flavor, unfortunately I forgot to ask the server what kind of cheese was on the pizza. I don’t think I have ever had it so far and would love to come back soon.
For my dessert I had a cannoli, I didn’t know where to start. The outside layer was like a crunchy shell, unlike the inside. On the inside it had a vanilla cream that was very tasty because it flowed with the crunchiness of the outer shell. On top of the crunchy shell was powdered sugar and mini chocolate chips. It was a very good combination and was a great way to end my meal. One more thing to mention is the server said the new pizza is called the rosemary potato, don’t forget to try it . Thanks for reading !!!!! Be sure to check out more of my dads blogs!
