Networking is a great thing. I’ve witnessed it first hand and have personally benefited from it. By establishing a relationship with someone else, you can improve what you offer by leveraging your partner’s strengths. The combination of the two can be a special offering.

I admire the fact that Executive Chef Dominique Theval deeply cares about sourcing his ingredients from quality suppliers. He is extremely particular about having top quality ingredients and acquires most them personally, whether the source is located in Downtown LA or the South Bay.

Dominique’s Kitchen recently collaborated with local grocer, Grow, in Manhattan Beach. Grow is a small, family owned business and their philosophy is similar to Dominique in that they source locally and sell organic produce and meat.

On Tuesday, June 24 at 7pm, Dominique’s Kitchen will feature the following special menu in conjunction with Grow.

Four Course Prix Fixe Menu

  • Corn and Crab Chowder – Made with freshly picked sweet California corn from Grow farmers.
  • Organic Greens Risotto – Organic greens, from Grow, risotto with pesto sauce.
  • Grilled Watermelon Salad – Pine nuts, California goat cheese, dried cranberries, arugula, honey, lemon and olive oil with baby calamari.
  • Fresh picked grilled peaches with mild goat cheese

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

I’ve had both the organic greens risotto and the grilled watermelon salad. I really enjoy both dishes as they were full of great flavors and textures. Prior to meeting Dominique, I never experienced grilled watermelon before. By attending the event, you will benefit from their joint collaboration. Please call 424-247-9054 to secure your reservation.
