This Friday, July 4, the Village Runner will be hosting its 21st annual 4th of July 5K and Firecracker Dash beginning at 8:00a.m. This year Rock & Brews Redondo Beach joins as a sponsor of the event and will host the official post-race party. Rock & Brews will open early to welcome runners and their friends from 8:30a.m. to 11 a.m. with a select menu of food and drink specials.
“Rock & Brews Redondo Beach is thrilled to join forces with Village Runner for this community race,” said Jon Mesko, owner of Rock & Brews Redondo Beach. “As an athlete, I know how important it is to celebrate one’s achievements, and Rock & Brews is the perfect place for runners, friends and family to gather for such a celebration.”
The Redondo Beach 5K post-race party menu at Rock & Brews will include French toast, breakfast sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, tacos and a kale salad, as well as kids’ meals including a choice of pizza or chicken tenders with either fruit or fries. Additionally, $3 and $5 draft beers will be offered, including a choice of craft beer selections.
