Just recently, the first ever Hello Kitty Convention was held at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles. Thousands of Hello Kitty fans came to celebrate all things Hello Kitty. Of course, I was among one of those happy Hello Kitty fans who joined in the milestone event!
Hello Kitty Con was the first ever Hello Kitty Convention in the world and many us fans got a special sneak peak of some upcoming exciting Hello Kitty collaborations. One of those exciting reveals is the Hello Kitty Cafe. A Hello Kitty Cafe is slated to arrive in Southern California in 2015. To give foodies a taste of what’s to come, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck came to Hello Kitty Con.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck offered a variety of sweet treats that each had a hint of Hello Kitty. Among the offerings were donuts with Hello Kitty’s classic red bow, a water bottle shaped like a red bow and Hello Kitty mini cakes.
My favorite from the truck were the Hello Kitty macarons! The macarons come in a set of five and are each decorated with either a classic Hello Kitty face or a red bow.
The Hello Kitty Cafe’s offerings were not only cute but delicious. They were definitely sweet treats that made any foodie/Hello Kitty fan smile during Hello Kitty Con!
I can’t wait till the Hello Kitty Cafe comes in 2015. The cafe will be opening up in the Orange County area.
