Honored guests, including Redondo Beach Mayor Steve Aspel and Rams legend Rosey Grier, joined the proprietor of Shade Hotels, Michael Zislis, center, in cutting the ribbon for Shade Hotel Redondo on Sunday, October 2, 2016.

This past Sunday, Shade Hotel Redondo welcomed legends from the LA Rams and other guests for a football game day party.  Among the attendees were Rams legends Rosey Grier, Dennis Harrah, Nolan Cromwell and LeRoy Irvin.

“It was an honor to welcome the Rams Legends as our very first guests” said Michael Zislis, the hotelier and restaurateur that brought us Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach and Strand House restaurant.  “We are excited to have the Rams back in Los Angeles, and it was a magical way to celebrate the pinnacle opening of our newest Shade Hotel.”

Guest staying in this lovely location will enjoy easy access to nearby entertainment and dining.  Shade Hotel Redondo Beach is located on a wide, harbor front lot between Blue Water Grill to the north and The Cheesecake Factory to the south.  The International Boardwalk and the Redondo Beach pier are just a short bike ride or stroll a bit further south.

In all, the event was a great introduction to the new hotel and a great way to welcome the Rams back to LA.  To share the love the love with the community, proceeds from the event benefited the Rams Foundation.
