Craving for piping hot, New York style, thin crust pizza? You are in luck because Grimaldi’s first California location is set to come to El Segundo!
Grimaldi’s is a famous pizzeria originating from New York. For years folks in New York have feasted on the restaurant’s famous coal fired brick pizzas made with handmade mozzarella and “secret” sauce. Through the years, locations have opened up in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, South Carolina and Texas. Now the South Bay will get a taste of “the pizza that made the Brooklyn Bridge famous!”
Grimaldi’s is opening up where the Daily Grill once was in El Segundo. No date has been set yet for the opening. The banner in front of the location says opening up this summer but the Grimaldi’s website mentions fall.

So, summer has come and gone, still no Grimaldi’s. Any idea as to when they’ll open? If they still are?
Hi Dann – I just checked the Grimaldi’s website and they’re still saying an opening in 2013 🙂
can we get one in Riverside California
Having one out in Riverside would be great! We’ll have to petition the folks at Grimaldi’s to see if we can get one opened. 😀
