It’s no secret that I am a fan of Hello Kitty and a fan of good food (hence I write a blog called Hello Kitty Foodie. I am therefore beyond thrilled to share that this October, the city of LA will experience a the first ever Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt in LA.
(The city of Los Angeles will also be hosting the first ever Hello Kitty Convention this month and the Japanese American National Museum is hosting a special Hello Kitty museum exhibition!)
Starting on October 24 and ending on November 21, several of LA’S hottest food spots will be offering hello kitty themed food and beverages on their menu.
In addition to getting to feast on these cute and delicious treats, customers will get a collectible hello kitty pin that features hello kitty enjoying the particular food or beverage. These special Hello Kitty meals and drinks are all part of a giant celebration for Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary
Among the restaurants participating in the Hello Kitty Hungry hunt are Food Network’s Duff Goldman’s Charm City Cakes, Little Tokyo’s Chado Tea Room and the newly opened Plan Check Kitchen and Bar. There are eleven restaurants total participating in this foodie scavenger hunt! The food offerings vary from burgers with pink cheese to hello kitty bento boxes to hello kitty cupcakes!
