Even though Christmas decorations were in stores before Halloween came and went, the holiday season is here…for real this time!
Here are a couple weekend activities to put you in the holiday spirit, be it cooking up a Thanksgiving feast or walking in a winter beachy wonderland.
Complimentary Holiday Meal Tasting at Whole Foods
I will admit holiday shopping is not my strong suit but I have no problem with taking care of holiday dinner. To get us all in the mood for that holiday menu, Whole Foods is offering a complimentary tasting this Saturday.
From Noon to 3 PM, stop by Whole Foods in Plaza El Segundo to see what’s cooking for the holidays.
Roasted turkey? Cripsy corn bread? Succulent stuffing? All your favorites are sure to be there along with some new ideas for the feast.
Demonstrations will also be conducted throughout the store to showcase WF’s ingredients and products.

Hermosa Beach Holiday Sidewalk Festival
Streets done, curbs done, everything did! After months of time and almost $4.3 million spent on remodeling, Hermosa is ready to show how fancy Pier Avenue can be.
This Saturday from 10 AM until 5 PM, the Holiday Sidewalk Festival takes place on Pier Avenue from Hermosa Avenue to Valley Drive. The party will feature live music, food and children’s activities.
To encourage folks to get the newly redesigned pedestrian feel of the boulevard, there will be a free bike valet in the City Hall parking lot. Don’t worry about parking! Ride your bike, valet it (sweet!) and let your flip flops do the walking.

Well is there anybody who doesn’t love dinner testing?
