This Weekend: Partying for Japan

Giving might be hard, but partying is not…especially when you are partying for a cause!  Here are three events that will help you enjoy yourself and feel good about helping out at the same time.

Friday is National Drink Wine Day…As if You Need a Reason!

National Drink Wine Day comes along every year on February 18.  I’ll be the first to admit that I groan at the idea of preconceived “holidays” – August 8 is National Zucchini Day?  Are you serious!? – but Wine Day is one that I’m all for celebrating.

This Weekend! Get a Taste of the Pier in Redondo, Drink Wine in Pasadena, Sample Street Food in LBC

Love it or hate it, the rain has come and gone.  The end result is a weekend full of clear skies and foodie events ripe for the picking.  Enjoy!

This Weekend! Beer, Wine, and Food Festivals Collide

The first weekend of Fall is here and it feels like summer in Southern California.  Of course, I’m not complaining!
This weekend is jam packed with things going on around the South Bay and all over LA.  Read this sampling of events and try not triple-book yourself.

California Wine Month: My Favorite Temecula Wineries

As California Wine Month continues, I’m reflecting on some of my favorite places to go wine tasting, namely Temecula and Santa Ynez.

From Los Angeles, these wine growing regions are only two hours away and easy to fit into a day trip.

This Weekend! LA County Fair, Lobsterfest, Oktoberfest, and More!

I’m all out of whack this week because summer is officially over — yeah. thanks, Labor Day! — but it feels like it never really got started. At the same time, fall traditions are taking place right on schedule. What’s a foodies to do? Here are a few events to consider while we figure that out!
